1. Scope and acceptance
These Terms & Conditions govern access to the L2Pegasus website, game server, launcher, accounts, community features and related services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account, connecting to the Service or making a support contribution, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
L2Pegasus is an independent, non-official community project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by NCSOFT or any other rights holder associated with Lineage II.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must have the legal capacity required in your country to accept these terms. Minors may use the Service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity performed through your account.
Account names, characters, virtual items and in-game currency remain elements of the Service. They are licensed for personal use, are not your property, have no cash value and may not be sold, exchanged for real money or transferred outside authorised systems.
3. Rules of conduct
You must not cheat, exploit bugs, automate gameplay where prohibited, attack or disrupt the infrastructure, impersonate staff, harass others, trade accounts or virtual assets for real money, or use the Service for unlawful activity. Exploits and security issues must be reported privately and must not be used for personal benefit.
Voting rewards are granted only after confirmation by the relevant voting platform. Attempts to reuse a vote, automate voting, bypass a platform cooldown, falsify a notification or obtain duplicate rewards may result in removal of the rewards and an account sanction. L2List is a directory listing and does not grant a voting reward.
L2Pegasus may investigate violations and apply proportionate measures, including warnings, removal of unlawfully obtained assets, temporary suspension or permanent account closure. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
4. Donations and digital rewards
A “donation” is a voluntary financial contribution made to support the operation, hosting, development and maintenance of L2Pegasus. It does not purchase ownership, voting rights, control over the project, priority treatment, staff influence, immunity from the rules or any advantage over the L2Pegasus team or other players.
Where a contribution is accompanied by Coins of Luck, Premium time, a cosmetic item or another digital reward, that reward is a limited, personal and revocable licence to use digital content inside the Service. Rewards have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash and do not create property rights. L2Pegasus does not sell direct combat power and may adjust rewards where reasonably necessary for balance, security or legal compliance.
Before payment, the selected amount, reward and total price will be shown. Payment will later be processed by the selected provider, such as Stripe or PayPal, under that provider’s own terms. A contribution is complete only after payment confirmation. Delivery may require the selected character to reconnect to the game.
5. Refunds, withdrawal and project closure
Because contributions fund an ongoing community project and associated digital rewards are normally delivered promptly, completed contributions are generally final and non-refundable to the fullest extent permitted by law. A change of mind, an account sanction, dissatisfaction with game balance, inactivity, loss of access caused by the player, or the consumption of a digital reward does not ordinarily create a right to a refund.
Where applicable law provides a withdrawal right for digital content, immediate delivery will begin only after the player has expressly requested immediate performance and acknowledged that the statutory withdrawal right may be lost once performance begins. Nothing in these terms excludes a mandatory refund, conformity remedy, charge correction or other right that cannot legally be waived.
The Service is an evolving project and is not guaranteed to operate permanently. L2Pegasus may suspend, reset or discontinue all or part of the Service for technical, financial, legal, security or operational reasons, with or without advance notice where circumstances require. To the fullest extent permitted by law, previous contributions are not refundable solely because the project, server or a feature later closes. If the project ends, access and unused virtual assets may end with it. This clause does not remove any non-waivable statutory right arising from a failure to supply already-promised digital content.
6. Prices, promotions and delivery
Prices are displayed in euros and include applicable taxes where required. Promotional codes may be time-limited, restricted to one use, subject to eligibility conditions and withdrawn before redemption. Rewards are delivered to the account and character selected during checkout. Players must verify those details before confirming payment.
If a confirmed payment is not delivered because of a technical problem, contact L2Pegasus support with the transaction reference. The normal remedy is investigation and correct delivery of the promised reward; any statutory remedies remain available.
7. Availability, updates and resets
Maintenance, outages, attacks, data corruption, patches, balancing changes and resets may affect availability or progress. L2Pegasus will use reasonable efforts to maintain the Service but does not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features, rates, items and rules may evolve. Material changes will be announced through the website or official Discord where reasonably possible.
8. Intellectual property
The L2Pegasus name, original artwork, website design, text, code and project-specific assets may not be copied or commercially reused without permission. Third-party names, game assets and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. No licence is granted beyond the personal use necessary to access the Service.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, L2Pegasus is not liable for indirect losses, loss of opportunity, loss of virtual progress or damage caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, personal injury where applicable, or mandatory consumer guarantees.
10. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated to reflect changes to the Service, payment systems or legal obligations. The effective date will be updated and material changes will be announced. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance only where legally permitted; fresh consent will be requested when required.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available in their country of residence. Players should first contact support so the parties can attempt an amicable resolution. Any legally required consumer mediation details will be published before real-money payments are enabled. Consumers retain the right to use competent courts and other remedies provided by applicable law.
12. Contact
The Service is operated by the L2Pegasus project team. Until the final legal entity, domain and support email are established, support requests are handled through the official Discord. Complete operator identification and consumer-contact details will be added before public commercial launch.
